On The Surface
The overall design of the The Surface is seem-less with engineering precision; the tablet is a joy to hold and operate. The Surface includes many ports (including a full Size USB port). The build of the device is amazingly tough and at the same time premium, Microsoft calls this finish VapourMg. It also comes with a built in 'Kick Stand' which allows the user to watch movies without the need to hold the tablet for the duration.
Below The Surface
The Surface runs Windows 8 RT or Pro. Windows 8 RT is a version of Windows 8 specially designed for tablets. Like the iPad with this version you can only run apps which have been altered for the Surface but with Windows 8 Pro, you can download and run any applications available for PCs running windows 8. Every Surface comes with a Preview version of the much anticipated Microsoft Office 2013.
Space
There has been much speculation towards the surface with Users saying that the Hard drive space of the device is used up by Microsoft's Software (both Windows 8 RT and Office 2013) leaving you with little space for your files but take in account that ...
1.) Microsoft gives you a free Office suite, which many other companies don't.
2.) The Surface has a SD card slot built in which enables you, the user, to buy a cheap SD card which
will give you the most 64GB of extra storage and it has a USB slot which means you can connect a external hard drive to the device.
Conclusion

The Surface Prices are said to be competitive with the iPad. The Surface options are RT or Pro, 32GB For the entry level 32GB without a touch cover...
